The central character, Madam, was skilfully portrayed by Lyn Henley, who was awarded The Rose Cumming Memorial Trophy for diction and expression.
Cynthia Bell, who played her one-time dresser and now housekeeper, was also nominated for her characterisation of the part.
Tish Wells played Madam‘s estranged daughter. Jade Bridge played a young pupil, and Derek Wenn, a stalwart of Colyton Theatre Group, played Madam’s Doctor with a good bedside manner.
Theresa Cordwell was Assistant Director. Roger Bagg was Stage Manager, assisted by Karen Pledger and Susan Fouracre.
